Iron encourages the body to create red cells to carry oxygen throughout the body. So therefore people who are iron deficient often feel fatigued and a lack of energy.
Vitamin code is my favorite brand as it is non-constipating and includes vitamin c, b12, and folate to promote iron absorption. I still prefer to take mine with meals even though it says on the box that it is not necessary.
Including an iron supplement alongside an iron rich diet, will help to combat any deficiency you may have. But please consult with your doctor before taking any supplement.
